CORTICOSTEROIDS
Indications:
Allergic
reaction, inflammatory conditions of musculo skeletal system, shock, toxemia,
laminitis, ocular inflammatory condition. Adverse side effects: Inhibit
antibody formation, decrease the concentration of lymphocytes and eosinophils,
suppress the migration of neutrophils, and inhibit phagocytosis.
Side Effect: Immuno-supperation,
Ketosis, and many more but most are associated with chronic or discontinous
use.
